Village Home — Terms & Conditions

Last updated: Oct 16, 2026

These terms apply whenever you book or attend a Village Home session, in either Mama Village or Crossroads Village. Booking a session means you have read and accepted them.

1. Who we are

Village Home is run by Gabby Ortega, a life and identity coach trading as Rebrandia Coaching, an entreprise individuelle based in Strasbourg, France. In these terms, "I" and "Village Home" mean Gabby Ortega in that capacity.

Village Home has two circles. Mama Village is for mothers, from bump to toddler. Crossroads Village is for anyone building a life in Strasbourg. Both are held in person, in English.

2. What you are booking

Village Home is a facilitated peer support circle. It is a group of people in a similar stage of life talking honestly, with structure and someone holding the shape of the conversation.

It is not therapy, counselling, psychological treatment or medical care, and it is not a substitute for any of them. No diagnosis, treatment or clinical assessment is offered, and nothing said in the circle is recorded as a clinical note. Booking a session does not create a practitioner–patient relationship.

The circle is facilitated by Gabby Ortega, a life and identity coach. The sessions are run in that capacity.

If you are in crisis or need clinical support, please contact your médecin traitant, or call 15 (SAMU) or 112 in an emergency. The French national suicide prevention line is 3114, free and staffed around the clock. I am glad to point you toward English-speaking practitioners in Strasbourg if that would help.

3. Booking and payment

A session costs €20 per person, paid when you book it. There is no membership, no block to buy up front and no minimum number of sessions. The price covers the ninety-minute circle, the facilitation, the week's reading, and the prompt sent by email beforehand. It does not cover anything you order at the venue. A baby or small child who comes with you is not charged a seat.

VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the CGI.

You book one session at a time through an online booking page. Pick the date, pay, and your seat is held.

Each session seats fifteen people. Once fifteen are booked, that date closes and the next available one shows instead. Booking early is the only way to guarantee a particular week.

Payment is taken by card through Stripe at the moment you book. Card details are handled by Stripe and are never seen or stored by Village Home. You get an emailed confirmation with the date, time and address, and a receipt from Stripe.

Your first session is free. When you join the Village Home mailing list you receive a one-time code. Enter it at checkout and the booking completes at €0, with no card charged. The code is valid for one session, for the person it was sent to.

4. Cancelling, moving and credits

More than 48 hours before the session. Cancel using the link in your confirmation email and your €20 becomes a session credit, or move your booking straight to another date at no cost.

Within 48 hours of the session. No credit is issued. The seat was held for you and it is too late to offer it to anyone else. You can still move your booking to a later date if there is space; this is a goodwill allowance rather than a right, and it is offered once.

Life happens. A sick child, a sick you, a cancelled train. Write and say so. The policy above is what I will hold to if it ever has to be enforced, not a trap I am hoping to spring.

If I cancel a session. If I cancel for illness, a venue problem, or because fewer than four people have booked, everyone booked is refunded in full to the card they paid with. If you would rather, you can take a credit or a seat on the next date instead. I will give as much notice as I have. Refunds go back through Stripe and usually take five to ten working days to appear.

How credits work. A credit is one paid session, held against your email address. It is valid for twelve months from the date it is issued and can be used for either circle. Credits are personal to the person they were issued to: they cannot be transferred or given to anyone else, and they are not exchangeable for money.

Apart from a session I cancel, Village Home does not issue cash refunds. Everything else above is settled in credit or by moving your booking.

5. Arriving late, and not arriving

We start on time. The circle opens with a reading and the first round of sharing, and people walking in during that is the one thing that reliably breaks it.

If you arrive more than fifteen minutes late, you are welcome to join at the first natural break, which may mean waiting a few minutes at the door. Please don't let lateness stop you coming — just expect a pause.

A booking you don't use and don't cancel is lost, with no credit issued.

6. What we agree to in the room

By booking, you agree to these. They are the whole reason the circle works.

I may decline or cancel a booking, with a full refund, if a circle isn't the right fit for what someone needs — or isn't the right circle. If that happens I'll tell you directly and suggest somewhere better.

7. Your information

What I collect. Your name and email address when you join the mailing list or book a session, your booking history, and a record of your payments. Your card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never reach me.

Why. To confirm and manage your booking, to send you the details and the week's prompt, and, if you joined the mailing list, to tell you about upcoming sessions. Bookings are processed because they are needed to provide the session you asked for. The mailing list is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.

Who handles it. Your information is processed on my behalf by Kit (the mailing list), Calendly (bookings) and Stripe (payments). Some of these providers are based in the United States and may process data outside the European Union, under the safeguards required by the GDPR. I do not sell your information or share it for advertising.

How long. Mailing list details are kept until you unsubscribe. Booking and payment records are kept for as long as French accounting law requires.

Your rights. Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of your information, and object to how it is used. Write to me at [YOUR CONTACT EMAIL] and I will answer within one month. You also have the right to complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority, at cnil.fr.

What is said in the circle. Nothing said during a session is recorded or written down by me, and I do not keep notes about individual participants.

Full details are in the [LINK TO YOUR PRIVACY POLICY].

8. Right of withdrawal and complaints

French consumer law gives a 14-day right of withdrawal on many purchases made online. That right does not apply to leisure activities booked for a specific date (article L221-28, 12° of the code de la consommation), which covers Village Home sessions. This is why cancellations are handled by credit, as set out in section 4, rather than by refund.

If something goes wrong, please write to me first at hello@rebrandiacoaching.com. I will reply within five working days and I would like the chance to put it right.

If we cannot resolve it, you have the right to use a consumer mediator free of charge.

9. Governing law, changes and contact

These terms are governed by French law. This does not limit any mandatory consumer rights you have in the country where you live.

I may update these terms from time to time. The version in force on the day you book applies to that booking. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.

Questions about any of this: hello@rebrandiacoaching.com.
